Charleston : day one :: Had lunch at a cute place near Folley Beach then headed over to the pier. Love that damn pier. Lots and lots of photos to be processed. As per usual with me, the clouds rolled in just in time for my arrival. I suppose I am just going to have to get used to overcast beach days ... seems I get very few sunny ones, no matter where in the world I am. Then I headed to Isle of Palms to the Boathouse for dinner. My fabulous friend, Laura, hooked me up with some delicious food and a sunset view. Well, till the clouds rolled in again. :)

Client meetings in Columbia, SC all day - everyone voted to go eat at a vegan restaurant for lunch, so I had to suck it up and go with it.  Given my picky dietary situation, there was only one menu option - caesar salad.  Yep.  And to make a bad situation worse - they didn't even have romaine, only mixed greens which were mostly arugula.  Let's just say it was nothing short of horrible for me ... Once our meetings were finally done, I spotted a cupcake shop across from our hotel and decided to reward myself with something horrible and fatty and delicious!

Is this an awesome birthday gift or what? I love the city plan of Chicago - it's this perfect grid. Flying in at night is the best way to really see its beauty. Can you believe they can cut such delicated lines into a pendant like this?  So cool!

Spent the majority of the day home, cleaning. I love a clean house, but HATE cleaning. Meanwhile,the kitties just lounge around and watch. What a life, huh?

Still loving the new VSCO photo app. Having such a hard time choosing between color and black & white. And sometimes double process with instagram - even more fun!!

I bought a new iPhone camera app today called VSCO cam. I've been seeing beta testers posting photos for a while and it finally came out today. $.99 it's a steal. Love the processing effects and social integration. I think I'm gonna love this app! And might even have to get their LR4 film...

I mean look how cool this bridge shot looks in black and white with a touch of grain... I completely love it!

Started back up with physical therapy... This time for my back. It's just not been the same since my long flight back from Hawaii so I decided it's time to figure out how to make it feel better. And I have a fabulous PT! Feeling better tonight already!!
