KPMG had already initiated a Higher Purpose internal campaign to strengthen employee pride and engagement, yet they hadn’t found a way to foster a long lasting, emotional connection with employees. We were brought in to solve this challenge.
We used one-of-a-kind developed a one-of-a-kind employee recognition system, the Legacy Wall. As a new employee starts with KPMG they are given the opportunity to leave their mark by signing their marker and placing it on the Legacy Wall. Markers stay even when an employee leaves the firm, signifying the importance of the impact they made while working for KPMG.
Within the first year of the campaign and Legacy Wall rollout, KPMG rose in Fortune 20+ spots and by the end of the second year topped the “Big Four” firms for the first time in their history
